Toxadocia cylindrica

Toxadocials A-C (613-615) and toxadocic acid (616) are sulfated long chain alcohols isolated from Toxadocia cylindrica that inhibit thrombin. Their structures were determined by chemical and spectral means [491,492]. 

Isol. from the marine sponge Toxadocia cylindrica. Thrombin inhibitor. Amorph. solid (as tetra-Na salt). [a]j3 —2.2 (c, 1 in MeOH) (as tetra-Na salt). CAS numbers refer to tetra-Na salts.
