Touch-tone

The telephone is also utilized in the development of interactive voice response (IVR) systems that support touch-tone or speech recognition responses. IVR systems have been developed for subject randomization, drug assignment, and survey data collection. 

Automated randomization systems have been developed using voice response [44] and telephone touch-tone technology [45,46]. Others have used a preloaded password-protected system with hidden encrypted randomization files into the trial s laptop or desktop computers that are used as distributed data collection devices [47] or have developed centralized computer programs that dynamically randomize subjects [48].

The voice interface was designed using both pre-recorded human voice (in the welcome message) and synthesized text-to-speech voices to instruct the user, in order to cause the experimentation of the differences and similarities between them. Also, it is used touch tone and speech tone interactions in order to put side by side voice recognition (human-like feature) and touch recognition (machine-like feature)... 

The stacks are moved and again separated into individual panels where they pass a grading station. Those panels requiring touch-up or repair move to the repair stations. Panels then move to the trim saws where edges are trimmed to the final desired size, normally 1220 x 2440 mm (4x8 ft.). Panels are then touch-sanded to final thickness, and pre-finished as desired. Those panels with high quaUty decorative veneer faces are usually filled, stained to the desired tone, and finished with a clear finish.

After toning, if the emulsion feels soft to the touch, either re-harden the print before drying or be extra careful that the surface does not stick to anything. 

After the print has been washed according to the toner s instructions, you can remove the mask. Remove Photo Maskoid by touching tape to one edge and pulling it off. Remove rubber cement by carefully rubbing your fingers across the print surface while it is in the final stages of the wash. After the print is dry any previously toned area may be masked and an entirely different area toned with a different color toner. There is no limit to the number of colors that can be applied, or the areas that can be toned. 

Note the dose-dependent increase in sedation and decreases in reactivity to touch, traction and muscle tone accompanied by abnormal gait. 

Chloroprocaine, like other local anesthetics, blocks the generation and the conduction of nerve impulses, presumably by increasing the threshold for electrical excitation in the nerve by slowing the propagation of the nerve impulse and by reducing the rate of the rise of action potential. In general, the progression of anesthesia is related to the diameter, myelination, and conduction velocity of affected nerve fibers. Clinically, the order of loss of nerve function is as follows pain, temperature, touch, proprioception, and skeletal muscle tone.
