Tool redesign

If you cannot develop a new procedure, try to determine if any physical changes could help to eliminate or reduce the danger. These changes may include redesigning equipment, changing tools, or adding machine guards, PPE, or ventilation. 

Implementing rf evaporation required an apparatus redesign, but the method opened the way to rapid progress. The atomic density grew to the point that the cold-collision frequency shift of the 1S-2S transition became visible [8], providing an in situ measurement of the density. With this tool, the BEC transition was soon achieved [9]. We shall describe our BEC studies below.

Some programs have found it necessary to contract with private corporations to assist with the rather daunting task of redesigning their entire curricula to an online, interactive format. 

Once all departmental activities are satisfied, with redesign and resamples if necessary, metal should be cut for the full production tool, but on the understanding that further purchaser evaluations must be completed before tool acceptance (or, for example, before a mould is finally plated or hardened).
