In accordance to CEN EN 13108-21 (2008), tolerances of the gradation curve and bitumen content of a single result, or of the mean of four results, for an AC, or any other asphalt apart from MA and HRA, are given in Table 5.3. 

The frequency of samplings for gradation and binder content determination, once the compliance method has been chosen (by a single result or mean of four results), depends on the operating compliance level (OCL) of the plant. More information is given in CEN EN 13108-21 (2008), Annex A.
