Timing Post Implementation Simulation

we will use ModelSim to run a full timing simulation using Xilinx s Simprim and Unisim libraries. ModelSim reads the time sim.sdf file that contains the timing information from the implementation process and annotates the timing information into die time sim.vhd file. 

Load the top-level ( mitring ) module from timing library 

Click on Design = mltring= structure then click Load 

Functional verification Verify if the results are correct and determine the propagation time of the 8-hit register from the script file timing force.do
