P. T. Cleve 133 prepared thorium chlorate by double decomposition of barium chlorate and thorium sulphate, followed by evaporation under reduced press. The resulting soap-like deliquescent mass is very soluble in water. Thorium bromate behaved similarly. [Pg.357]
