Thioether macrocyclic complexes platinum

Intramolecular coordination rearrangement related to the acidic behavior of the amide group has been observed also in the platinum(II) complex of macrocycles 8 and 9, which contain two amide groups in one side, and two and three thioether sulfur atoms, respectively, in the opposite side [21]. In an acidic solution, the Pt(II) ion is bound to the sulfur atoms, with two (8) or one (9) water molecule completing the four-coordination according to a square-planar stereochemistry. [Pg.98]
