Thiodipropionate diester

Secondary antioxidants, such as thiodipropionate diester, are often used together with hindered phenolic antioxidants and the effect is remarkable. The main products are dodecanol double ester, bis-ester, and bis-tetradecene octadeca. Phosphite ester is also a secondary antioxidant and the main products are trioctylcitrate, tricaprylate, 3-pentanediol monolsobutyr-ate, and hexadecyl ester, such as antioxidants 168, 626, and 618. The production and consumption of 168 are second only to those of antioxidant 1010. Most manufacturers that produce 1010 and 1070 also produce 168. 626 and 618 are mainly used to produce plastic material or products processed at high temperatures of about 300°C, with the effect of improving the ability of antithermal oxidation and maintaining a good appearance of plastic products.
