Diglycoldinitrate powders had the same notation as nitroglycerine powders with only one difference, the calorific value was marked with letters for the sake of secrecy. 

The letter A denoted calorific value 930 25 kcal/kg E denoted calorific value 740+10 kcal/kg 

K denoted calorific value 690 io kcal/kg G denoted calorific value 690 o kcal/kg 

followed by dimensions in brackets meant diglycoldinitrate tubular powder of calorific value 6901 io kcal/kg.
