THE IMPORTANCE OF ACIDS, BASES, AND SALTS

Almost all inorganic compounds and many organic compounds can be classified as acids, bases, or salts. Some of these types of compounds were mentioned in earlier chapters, and they are discussed in greater detail in this chapter.
