Nothing is known of this shady figure, who is also known as Abraham the Jew, other than he was reputed to be the author of the book that Nicholas Flamel purchased, The Book of Abraham the Jew, which inspired Flamel s alchemical quest. Further titles ascribed to Abraham are The Book of Hieroglyphics and the Ancient Chemical Work.
