The direction of vapour transport across a thermal gradient

In some transport reactions the transporting species is carried up a temperature gradient and in others the transport is in the opposite direction. For example the transport of aluminium by reaction with AICI3 to form the monochloride, A1C1, occurs down the temperature gradient. This reaction is written as [Pg.89]
