Because the cycle time of these tasks is the same, the extended monohemispheric reaction times must be caused by an increasing number of cycles. 

Because of the similar size of visual and auditory cycle times, vCT is used as the representative of cycle time. This may lead to false computed cycle numbers. If one divides the intervals of subject P12 by its directly observed cycle time one gets the following results  

The subjects who have repeated the tasks need another method to compute vCT than the subjects which are in a naive state. The present method cannot be applied to the repetition. Therefore these lines are empty. 

One can make this phenomenon more obvious if one puts (a221-alll)/vCT =1 and relates all other expressions to this norm For some subjects this has be done in the following table.
