The Bard and Goldberg cell

The ability to maintain a constant steady-state ESR signal suggested that kinetic measurements could be made with the cell within this 20 s time limit. 

The work of Bard and Goldberg clearly showed how an in-situ electrochemical ESR cell with stagnant electrolyte can be used in the determination of reaction mechanisms and rate constants.
