Tetrasulfur tetraimide

It explodes on heating in a flame. The structure may be the indicated linear polymer of tetrasulfur tetraimidate rings linked by pairs of dimercury bonds. [Pg.1710]

A number of other sulfur-nitrogen compounds are known. Generally, they contain at least one other type of atom and are prepared from S4N4.
