Test tubes, electrode storage

A convenient means of storing electrodes is in test tubes. The test tube size should be selected so as to have a large enough diameter to accommodate the electrode but not the cap. This allows the electrode to be supported by its cap and prevents the glass bulb from contacting the bottom of the test tube and also minimize evaporation of the storage solution (see Figure 3.16). [Pg.78]
