Quasibinaty (pseudobinary) sections describe equilibria and can be read in the same way as binary diagrams. The notation used in quasibinaty systems is the same as that of vertical sections, which are reported under Temperature - Composition Sections . [Pg.13]

Phase equilibria at eonstant temperatures are plotted in the form of isothermal sections (see Fig. 4). Temperature - Composition Sections... [Pg.16]

Only the isopleth for 16 mass% Mo published by [1986Liu] in the range 700-1000°C is available in the recent literature. This isopleth corresponds reasonably well with the accepted isothermal sections. The exception is the lower temperature limit of the R phase (about 930°C) compared with [1988And]. For that reason, this isopleth indicates a different invariant reaction than that accepted in this evaluation. Therefore, no temperature-composition section is published here. [Pg.172]

Further study of the phase equilibria is desirable, in particular flie constitution of temperature-composition sections for the phosphoras contents of 50 at.% and higher, as well phase relations for different temperatures... [Pg.288]

The CrS-Fe vertical section was called pseudobinary by [1999Kau, 20000ik], although it shows several three-phase regions, which should not appear in a quasibinary (pseudobinary) system. This section is an ordinary vertical section and is reported below under Temperature-Composition Sections . [Pg.306]

The temperature-composition section of the Cr-Fe-V system at 50 at.% Fe calculated by [1992Lee] is presented in Fig. 7. The results of the calculations are in excellent agreement with the results of the experimental study by [1957Korl],... [Pg.394]
