Techniques for Preparation of Meiotic Chromosomes

Two basic procedures have been developed for studies on mammalian chromosomes during the last decade the squash technique and the airdrying method. Both are direct adaptations to testicular material of similar methods used for somatic tissues. [Pg.29]
