T-Phos

The hydrogenation of a series of E/Z-isomeric mixtures of a-arylenamides with a MOM-protected /1-hydroxyl group catalyzed by a Rh-complex of 1,4-dipho-sphane T-Phos with a rigid 1,4-dioxane backbone led to chiral / -amino alcohol derivatives in excellent enantioselectivities (Scheme 26.4) [55]. DIOP -Rh is also effective for this transformation [51b]. [Pg.867]

The hydrogenation of a series of T/Z-isomeric mixtures of a-arylenamides containing a MOM-protected /9-hydroxyl group, using BICP-Rh and Me-DuPhos-Rh catalysts, affords the /9-amino alcohol derivatives with excellent enantioselectivity [41c]. A 1,4-di-phosphane, T-Phos, with a rigid 1,4-dioxane backbone is also a very effective Hgand for this transformation (Eq. 11) [45]. [Pg.15]

The correlation in Fig. 21.5 gives values that are too low for creeping flow, where the Reynolds number is low and the Peclet number Np is high (A p = = T>pHo/ y) For this case the recommended equation is ... [Pg.671]

Zhang has developed a series of 1,4-diphosphane ligands with a conformationally rigid 1,4-dioxane backbone, as exemplified by T-Phos 36 and SK-Phos 37. These ligands have proved highly efficient and selective (> 99% ee) for the asymmetric hydrogenation of arylenamides and MOM-protected p-hydroxyl enamides.33... [Pg.54]

Gennaro (51) proposed a method for the separation of water-soluble vitamins by means of the ion interaction reagent using octylamine < -phosphate or octylamine salicylate buffer (at pH 6.4) as the interaction reagent and the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 mL/min, and a 2.5-p.m Spherisorb ODS C18 column (250 X 4.6 mm) as the stationary phase. The column effluent was monitored at 210 nm. Retention times of pantothenic acid obtained with octylamine t)-phos-phate and octylamine salicylate were 64.0 and 9.8 min. The method was used for the determination of pantothenic acid in a model mixture of water-soluble vitamins and also in a commercial multivitamin isotonic salt dietetic drink (Fig. 9). [Pg.576]

Both CpTl and Cp2Hg react with (12) to produce only one isomer (13) (Y = C=CR, L = t-phos). " CpTl and (13) (Y = Ph, L = t-phos) behave similarly. Treatment of (13) (Y = C=CR or Ph) with HgCl2 or cis-[PtCl2(CO)L] also involves reaction of the group trans to L, the Cp ligand being transferred and (12) formed. These systems conform to the pattern expected for an S 2(cyclic) mechanism. A reaction involving Hg(C=CMe)2 is more complicated. [Pg.298]
