T- Mineral Acid

When using chloramine T-mineral acid reagents care should be taken to treat the layer with chloramine T first and then with mineral acid. The sensitivity is considerably reduced if the plate is, for example, merely dipped once in a combined reagent consisting of chloramine T in 5 percent sulfuric acid. [Pg.93]

Care must be exercised in the choice of acid employed in chloramine T — mineral acid reagent since the detection sensitivity and also the color of the fluorescences produced depend to a significant extent on the choice of acid.
