System suitability parameters relative standard deviation

For system suitability smdies, five replicate injections of mixed standard solutions were injected and parameters such as relative standard deviation of peak area, column efficiency, resolution, and tailing factors of the peaks were calculated. Results are shown in Table 3. 

The results of evaluation are reported as a percentage of relative standard deviation (RSD), and a TLC method is judged to be rugged when, despite normal variation of the parameters listed above, the system still yields acceptable RSD results in all variations and passes the system suitability test (see next Subsection). Any parameter influencing the results unfavorably, i.e. a parameter to which the TLC method is sensitive, must be reported, and the degree of control must be specified.
