Synthesis of dibutyl-p-tolyl-amine by aryl amination

2 SYNTHESIS OF DIBUTYL-p-TOLYL-AMINE BY ARYL AMINATION 

Water was added to quench the reaction. The reaction mixture was poured into a separating funnel, extracted with diethyl ether and dried over magnesium sulfate. The magnesium sulfate was removed by filtration using a filter paper. The filtrate was then dried over silica. The product was purified by column
