Synthesis Methods of Ti-Containing LDH-Based Materials

Synthesis methods of Ti-containing LDHs are recently the subject of interest and research. Many scientists believe that the incorporation of tetravalent cations in the layered structure is not possible, and with this attempt only the formation of the amorphous phase of these oxides occurs with no actual incorporation into the layers [4,65]. However, recently the general opinion has been formed that with strict control of the synthesis parameters and with detailed characterization of the obtained materials after synthesis, such incorporation is possible. According to literature data, an overview of the synthesis methods for the association of TiO and LDH is presented. [Pg.502]

Shao et al. synthesized ZnTi-LDH that lead to the decrease of the interlayer space due to the incorporation of M ions in the LDHs [12]. [Pg.502]

7 Synthesis Methods for the Association of Ti02 and LDH-Based Catalysts [Pg.502]

Recently, LDH-based catalysts exhibited photocatalytic activity in various reactions [11, 24, 39, 60]. TiO is the most commonly used photocatalyst due to its high oxidative [Pg.502]
