The intermolecular porphyrin-fullerene interaction found in the organogel system of 2a,c and 5a is very rare and valuable, because in the isotropic solution state the intermolecular interaction of porphyrin with fuUerene has never been reported except only in special cases as described above [34, 35]. The supramolecular organogel system can provide a specific guest-recognition medium, which caimot be created in an isotropic solution system.
