Support of Peak Integration

All CDS offer various possibihties for the integration of chromatograms. The aim of an integration is to determine the peak area as precise as possible. For this purpose, the integration needs to precisely follow the basehne. Where the user is unsure, all systems offer an overlay function by which, for example, the chromatogram can be compared with a blank injection. The blank depicts the best baseline course. Much more difficult to identify the correct integration for nonbaseline separated peaks. Flere, the CDS offer three different integration types  

2) A peak can be skimmed from a mother peak by a tangential line (tangential skim).
