Sun checking - Surface deterioration in the form of cracks, checks or crazing caused by exposure to direct or indirect sunlight.

Make no excuse for checking whether the sun shines on the thermostats or someone has washed the floor. Another common occurrence is that while the room is not being controlled as specified, the plant appears to be operating correctly. Here a series of simultaneous readings of air flows and wet and dry bulb temperatures should be taken around the whole of the air circuit - on and off coil, condition after fan, condition at inlet grilles, etc. Referring these to a psychrometric chart will usually indicate where the fault or leak lies.

Neutrinos inform us almost instantaneously of what is happening in the Sun s core. However, the main interest of this solar cardiograph is hardly to detect some failure in the Sun s cycle. In capturing solar neutrinos, the aim of contemporary physics is rather to catch the Sun in the act of nuclear transmutation. By measuring the neutrino flux, we may check our understanding of the Sun as a whole and at the same time analyse the relationship between this strange particle and more commonplace forms of matter. 

Among electronic neutrino detectors is the great KAMIOKANDE experiment and its extension SUPERKAMIOKANDE. Spread out at the bottom of a mine in Japan, this device has directional sensitivity and it can thus be checked whether captured neutrinos do actually come from the Sun.

Collect modern reference material from different light intensity regimes (sun and shade leaves) and check for the possibility to recognize and separate these (for instance through cell wall undulation index (Ktirschner 1997). Often, sun-morphotypes are preferentially preserved in the fossil record. If sun and shade leaves can be separated, develop morphotype-specific calibration curves to minimize potential error.

In addition, Ghiaroni et al. (2005) checked whether gambierol also affected chloride currents, because 1 mediates action potential repolarization in taste cells, as well as Ij (Hemess and Sun 1999), but it had no effect. Gambierol affected specifically only Ij on mouse taste cells. 

Keep hoses from kinking or being rubbed. Rinse them often, inside and outside, to prolong hfe. During the off season, store the unit out of the sun. Replace hoses at the first sign of surface deterioration (cracking or checking). 

All manipulations were carried out in Kel-F, Teflon FEP, or fused silica reaction vessels attached to a stainless steel or Monel fluorine-type vacuum system and/or in a Vacuum Atmospheres inert atmosphere Dri lab. Hexafluorobenzme, oclafluorotoluene, octafluoronaphthalene (PCR Inc., Gainesville, FL), sulfur dioxide, anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (Matheson, E. Rutherford, NJ), cesium fluoride (ROC/RIC, Sun Valley, CA), trifluoroacetic acid (Aldrich, Milwaukee, Wl), and tungsten hexafluoride, arsenic pentafluoride, and antimony pentafluoride (Ozark-Mahoning, Inc., Tulsa, OK) were used as received after their purity was checked by infrared spectroscopy. Dioxygenyl salts and rhenium and... 

The third way to check a numerical result—and perhaps the first thing you should do when you get one—is to see if the answer is reasonable. If, for example, you calculate that a cylinder contains 4.23 X 10 2 gf hydrogen when the mass of the sun is only 2 X 10 kg, it should motivate you to redo the calculation. Vou should similarly be concerned if you calculate a reactor volume larger than the earth (10 m ) or a room temperature hot enough to melt iron (1535°C). If you get in the habit of asking yourself, "Does this make sense every time you come up with a solution to a problem—in engineering and in the rest of your life—you will spare yourself considerable grief and embarrassment. 

To grow healthy, trouble-free plants, choose a well-drained site with as much sun as possible. Most do not need rich soil, and some actually prefer dry, poor soil check individual entries for specific preferences. 

Dahlias survive winter outdoors in Zones 9-10, given good drainage otherwise they must be dug and stored. Cut plants back to about 1 and dig the roots in fall before the first frost. Shake away loose soil and lay roots in the sun to dry for several hours. After drying, remove the tops and store the roots in a cool, dark, dry place. Check roots at regular intervals to make sure they re not so dry that they shrivel up. 

Of course, the Dominican Republic has not turned its back on all-inclusive resorts, and new additions include Riu Palace Punta Gana, which opened in May with 612 suites Sun Village Resorts-Juan Dolio with 263 rooms set to open early next year and a Palace Resort under construction in Punta Gana. Even the all-inclusives are moving upscale The 120 million Paradisus Palma Real in Bavaro opened last December with 554 suites and the option of Royal Service, private check-in and an exclusive pool with Bali beds. 

Checking the model by experimental data and extending it by taking into account possible dependence of diffusion coefficient from the distance to the Sun. 

For the checking of used above model of SEP propagation in the interplanetary space, we determined in the first values of k(r). These calculations we made according to the procedure described above at supposition that k(r) does not depend from the distance to the Sun. Results for the event of 29 September 1989 are shown in Fig. 3.
