Summary of innovative safety features

A short review given in Sections 4.4.1 - 4.4.4 of this Chapter establishes links between certain innovative safety features specified by the designers of SMRs in Annexes I - XXVI, and the innovation directions to enhance the levels of defence in depth as indicated in the IAEA-TECDOC-1434 [3]. For reference, the innovation directions [3] are summarized in Table 4. [Pg.41]
