Dithiomalonamide (L) and its dimethyl and diphenyl derivatives form complexes of the stoicheiometry ZnLX2 and ZnL2(C104)2 (X = Q, Br, or I). Both contain tetra-hedrally co-ordinated zinc the dimethyl ligand is N,S-chelate bonded, while the others are S,S-bonded.

The tridentate flnorinated sulphur-containing diol H0C(CF3)2CH2SCH2C(CF3)20H gave the five-coordinated (TBP)Co(n)complex[Co OC(CF3)2CH2SCH2C(CF3)20 (py)2] with pyridine as snpplementary ligands. The snlphur donor and one pyridine ligand occupy the axial positions. ...
