5-sulphosalicyclic acid

Ragunathan et al. [182] have reinvestigated CPMAS NMR spectra for polyaniline doped with 5-sulphosalicyclic acid and para-toluene sulphonic acid. The results are summarized in Table 12.20. [Pg.538]

The procedure involves titration of 100 ml of each solution CUSO4 and 5-sulphosalicyclic acid with a standardized solution of sodium hydroxide. A graph of pH against the volume of sodium hydroxide is plotted as shown in... [Pg.131]

In such a manner, the activity of different proteolytic enzymes has been estimated. Since the products of proteolytic cleavage can exhibit higher catalytic waves than those of the native proteins, the proteolytic effect can be investigated polarographically. Larger protein molecules can be precipitated with sulphosalicyclic acid. The polarographic analysis of these filtrates corresponds to the content of proteolytic products mainly. [Pg.267]

The proteins in 100 pi of serum are precipitated with 100 pi of 0.078 N sulphosalicyclic acid. Following centrifugation, 50 pi of the supernatant solution are injected into the sample loop (step A). The antibiotic is in protonated form. The injection valve is then turned so that the sample is transferred by pump 1 with acidic mobile phase to column 1 (step B). As this short column contains a cation exchanger, tobramycin is retained whilst most of the impurities are flushed to waste. Following this, the switching valve is turned (step C), starting the back-flushing of the antibiotic with basic mobile phase... [Pg.243]

Since the complexes of Fe(III) with sulphosalicyclic acid are strongly absorbing, spectrophotometry can be used in conjunction with Job s method to determine the molar ratio of Fe(lII) the acid. Iron(Ill) in chloride solution together with Co(II), can be separated in an ion exchange column. Iron(III) eluted can be monitored amperometrically using a rotating Pt electrode (J. Chem. Educ.Sl( 1974)491). [Pg.316]
