Steps for Continuous Improvement

Establish a system to continuously improve the observation process. Items to consider for inclusion in this system  

Organizations may use continuous improvement tools, such as Geller s DO IT process. This tool presents behavioral safety as a continuous four-step process as follows  

D Define the critical target behavior(s) to increase or decrease. 

O Observe the target behaviors during a preintervention baseline period to set behavior-change goals. 

I Intervene to change target behavior(s) in the desired directions.
