Statistical Stationarity in Copolymer Description

9 C alculations Within the Framework of Models Other than the Terminal one [Pg.30]

At the end of the present section concerning the statistical description of copolymerization, one may conclude that up-to-now this traditional area of quantitative theory of macromolecular reaction could be regarded as complete. In the forthcoming section some other problems of copolymerization theory connected with its dynamics will be discussed. These problems being of a vital practical importance require specific approaches for their successful solution. The efficiency of such approaches will be demonstrated below considering concrete examples. [Pg.30]

1 Statistical Characteristics of the Copolymers Produced at High Conversions [Pg.30]

The expressions presented in Sects. 3 and 4 allow one to calculate any statistical characteristics of the copolymer produced at low conversions p 1, when the drift of the monomer feed composition x with conversion may be neglected and hence we can put x = x° in all corresponding relations. In the reaction course on an increase of the conversion p the difference of x from its initial value x° becomes, generally speaking, more pronounced resulting in the necessity of considering copolymerization dynamics. [Pg.30]

In such a consideration the composition vector x determines the state of the reaction m-component mixture. This state according to the condition [Pg.30]
