State and Quantity of Pantothenate in Microorganisms

As the liberatioh of pantothenate from organisms or tissues is a necessary preliminary to study of their content of the substance, the required conditions have been investigated in some detail with animal tissues and foodstuffs The application of certain of these methods to microorgan sms has been examined and found satisfactory (73,114 see also 43).
