SSC

Carbon monosulfide, CS, which can be produced by passiag CS2 through a high voltage discharge, can react with C H SCl at low temperatures ia toluene to give CgH SC(S)Cl. In a similar manner CS reacts with S2CI2 by double iasertion to yield C1C(S)SSC(S)C1 (9). Carbon monosulfide can also react with amines or thiols ia toluene or DMF (10). A review of the synthetic utiUty of CS has been pubUshed (11).

In addition the very effective adsorbents for noble metals have been obtained. Their high soi ption capacity (SSC) and coefficients of intei phase distribution (D) are evidence availability of their use for concentration and isolation the microquantities of these metals from natural and induced objects. 

Table 4 shows the composition of a typical British natural gas, including the components as relative pressures, and their potential for adsorption on a coal based pellet (SSC 207EA 4mm). 

CER50.65, the Maintenance Rule requires nuclear plant licensees in the U. S. to monitor the condition of structures, systems, or components (SSC) against licensee goals to assure the SSC are fulfilling their intended function.

Quickly transfer the slide (without removing the coverslip) into a rack and submerge it in Wash buffer 1 (2 X SSC and 0.05% SDS). Similarly, transfer each of the other slides into the soaked rack. Use needle to gently assist with the falling of the coverslips from the hybridization areas of the slides. Be careful not to touch any of the printed area. Shake the slides for 5 min at room temperature. 

Transfer the rack into Wash buffer 2 (1 x SSC). Absorb excess Wash buffer 1 with a paper towel before putting the rack in Wash buffer 2. Shake the slides for 5 min at room temperature.
