Spraying with zinc mixed metal coatings

The zinc alloys sprayed most commercially are those with 15% aluminum (Leclerq and Bensimon, 1976), which have some of the merits of aluminum coatings added to the merits of zinc. These alloy coatings, now widely used in North America, Japan, Belgium, and France, were developed after many trials of different mixed metal and prealloyed compositions, which are mainly discussed in Chapters 2 and 3 on atmospheric and water corrosion, respectively. [Pg.30]
