To be prepared by spray mix process. Therefore DDBS-Na must be employed in form of a spray dried powder. DDBS-Na paste is not suitable. 

In order to minimize rebound, thorough blending of the ingredients should be done. The aggregate should be well coated with the cement in the dry-mix process. Since shotcrete admixtures promote shrinkage, it is essential that the sprayed surfaces be kept moist for at least 7 days. Ambient temperature conditions should be maintained at a level so that air in contact with the shotcrete surface is above freezing - at least for 7 days [106, 115]. 

Microcrystalline cellulose is the most compressible of any direct compression excipient. Producing a tablet of a given hardness requires less compression force for other materials. Therefore, it is usually mixed with another filler to achieve ideal compactibility and flowability of a direct compression formulation. Large particle size grades of microcrystalline cellulose are made by spray-dried processes to form dry and porous particle surfaces. The porous surfaces provide adsorption sites needed for fine dmg particles in low-dose formulations. However, microcrystalline cellulose contains trace amounts of peroxides that may lead to chemical incompatibility with oxidatively sensitive dmg substances.34... 

The measurement of the diameter of droplets in a spray provides information on the initial condition at the atomizer exit and on break-up or coagulation of droplets and vaporization. Fuel contained within droplets must go through the heating, vaporization, and mixing processes before it is available to react with oxygen, and these rate processes can be determined from the rates of decrease in the diameter of individual droplets. 

The mixing process of pesticide dispersion in a spray tank mounted on a tractor was monitored using optical back-scattering probes mounted in the tank [89]. A granulated powder was fully dispersed in 20 s whereas a powder product took 4 min.
