However, Kelley et al. [49] investigated the intercalation of MB into the thiol-labeled self-assembled monolayer (SAM) containing dsDNA on the gold electrodes in different experimental conditions. Tani et al [50] reported a shift in the peak potentials of MB with square wave voltammetry by using AuE. MB signal at thiol-labeled probe-modified AuE was found to be 10 to 15 mV more positive than the one obtained at thiol-terminated dsDNA-modified electrode.
