Soya protein fibres sources

Method to produce a regenerated protein fibre with improved resistance to aqueous processing by forming insoluble condensation bodies within the fibre. Protein sources cited include casein, soya beans, peanuts, zein, silk waste and fish albumen... [Pg.408]

Marked non-exponential behaviour is apparent (Table III). In experiments elsevdiere on homogenous soya gels (l8), simple exponential decays were observed. Relaxation of the nonexchangeable protein protons is not normally detected, being an order of magnitude faster, with relaxation times f 25 ysec. Again the source of the non-exponential behaviour in fibres must be associated with the location of water protons within the fibre matrix. [Pg.185]
