Basics Creep data can be very useful to the designer. In the interest of sound design-procedure, the necessary long-term creep information should be obtained on the perspective specific plastic, under the conditions of product usage (Chapter 5, MECHANICAL PROPERTY, Long-Term Stress Relaxation/Creep). In addition to the creep data, a stress-strain diagram under similar conditions should be obtained. The combined information will provide the basis for calculating the predictability of the plastic performance. 

Another specialized form of voltammetry involves the use of either a rotated-disk or a ring-disk indicating electrode. With this type of electrode the current is directly proportional to the square root of the rate of rotation if it is a diffusion-controlled process. To obtain complete adherence to the square-root relationship, a hydrodynamically sound design for the electrode is essential.43 Figure 3.12 illustrates the geometric features that have been found to give reliable performance for rotation rates as high as 10,000 rpm.

To score Flexibility (Total Designs) for the sketches look at both Designs. Are they the same Or different For example, in designs, which produce sound, are the cylinder and sphere in the same combination together (visually) If they are in the same combination, they would receive one point for Flexibility. If the combinations are different, or if each design uses a different shape, then the problem would receive two points for Flexibility (different categories). 

The line had to be drawn somewhat arbitrarily. For instance, one could keep extending the list of categories to include such elements as lighting, sound design, animation, music, level design, and so on. After all, these can be used to enhance the breadth and depth of emotion in a game as well. However, these get into specialized areas or involve gameplay issues that exceed the scope of this book.
