Preparation. A solution of sodium orthophosphate dodecahydrate (570 g., ROC/RIC) in water is added with. stirring to a solution of lithium hydroxide (126 g.) in 112O. The resulting precipitate is filtered, washed with water, and then dispersed in water (1.5-2 I.) at 60° for 20 min. The solid material is filtered and washed. This leaching process is repeated four more times. The filter cake is dried for 16 hr. in an oven at 200°. [Pg.309]
