Sodium dichlorofluoroacetate

Sodium dichlorofluoroacetate is prepared by neutralization of dichlorofluoroacetic acid in ether wilh sodium carbonate, with subsequent removal of ether and water under reduced pressure followed by heating at 50° (4 mm.) overnight. Lithium dichlorofluoroacetate Can be prepared in the same way.
