Providing accurate, up-to-date, and informative records is vital to the coordinated health care planning efforts of the entire team and most important to ensuring the client s health.

Find out who the players in your community are, both in public agencies and in private organizations. Develop relationships with them. Introduce yourself and listen to them to find out where they are coming from. Study the personalities and roles within agencies you might want to influence so that you know the appropriate person to make your demands to. Search out local pediatricians, social workers, or other service providers who might be supportive of your goals.
