Small structure alternative design

Exhibits 12-16 through 12-20 show variations of small-structure design. The physical size of any structure should be strialy limited to the space required for equipment operation and maintenance. The first small-structure scheme, in Exhibit 12-16, illustrates a common approach, in which one piece of equipment is set above another to accommodate a gravity-flow system. Although the design appears reasonable, there may be an alternative to consider. 

Alternately (and showing the versatility of the impact technique), impac-tors can be designed to achieve structured loading. The viral polyprotein comprises four structural proteins followed by six non-structural proteins. The structural proteins are envelope glycoproteins El and E2, Core, and the small P7 ion channel [14, 15].
