Small Multi-Purpose Research Facility SMiRF

All dynamic LAD testing was conducted at the Small Multi-Purpose Research Facility (SMiRF) at NASA GRC (Bamberger et al., 2011). All of the research hardware was mounted inside a 1.84 m (487 gallon), 800 kPa (115 psi) rated, SS tank, with a MEOP of 550 kPa (80 psi) as shown in Figure 9.1.
