Sketching the Energy Landscape

The principles summarized above are all that is needed to sketch the energy landscape of any reaction set, and were the ones employed to draw the energy landscape in Fig. 3.3. In the forthcoming chapters we shall invoke the same principles to schematically represent more energy landscapes in some particular cases. The process should become clearer as more examples are given.
