Orth, A., V. Sick, J. Wolfrum, R.R. Maly, and M. Zahn, Simultaneous 2D single-shot imaging of OH concentrations and temperature fields in an SI engine simulator. Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, 25 143-150, 1994. [Pg.185]

Fig. 19. Distribution of different fuel volatility classes acquired from simultaneous two-tracer measurement in an SI engine fueled with multicomponent fuels. For each combination of tracers two single-shot image pairs are shown for each two different detection timings in the intake stroke (60 and 100°ca). Fig. 19. The incremental way an image is acquired in STEM is fundamentally different from the single-shot imaging... [Pg.3146]

A visualization system with illumination, either synchronized with the drop formatiOTi to produce standing pictures of the drops, or providing single short-time pulses for single-shot images... [Pg.158]

For ultrasonic imaging systems (B-, C- and C-scans) single-shot measurements, fast data recordings, and fast data transfer must be performed. [Pg.856]

Fig. 1.21 Echo Planar Imaging (EPI) pulse sequence. Gradient-echo based multiple echoes are used for fast single-shot 2D imaging. Slice selection along Gs and frequency encoding along C, are utilized. Phase encoding is realized using short blipped gradient pulses along Gp. Fig. 1.21 Echo Planar Imaging (EPI) pulse sequence. For a manufacturer the difficulty is to estimate future developments or trends in NMR microscopy. Based on dedicated laboratory-made hardware developed by the NMR microscopy users and on their requests for new commercial hardware and software, the following topics could become more important micro-coil applications, multiple receiver systems and multi-coil arrangements, NMR microscopy at very high magnetic fields, MAS imaging and localized 1H MAS spectroscopy and localized single-shot 2D spectroscopy. There are no clear-cut distinctions between most of the individual topics, as will be discussed in the following sections. [Pg.69]
