Single point mooring system

The predominant floating production systems are single point moored tankers or barges, multiple point moored tankers or barges, and semi-submersible units. The difference between the two types of tanker and barge systems 1s the weather vanlng capability of the single point moored units which make them more suitable for hostile environments. [Pg.110]
