There are times when a researcher wants to estimate the mean y values for multiple X values simultaneously. For example, suppose a researcher wants to predict the logio microbial counts (y) at times 1, 10, 30, and 40 sec after the exposures and wants to be sure of their overall confidence at a = 0.10.
