CHy Mass-resolved two-photon REMPI of CHj and CDj radicals, np, Rydberg series identified. Second Rydberg series observed and tentatively assigned to nf, E series 379... [Pg.92]

If a chemical hit (series) identified from screening has clear potential chemical liability that would limit the ability to develop the compound and related analogs then it is unlikely to be selected with high priority to move into the hit-to-lead phase. This is less of an issue for probe development, for example oral bioavailability is rarely a criteria for a chemical probe (even if desirable), similarly potential in vivo toxicity liabilities of a hit are not of concern for initiating a probe development program. While medicinal chemists and pharmacologists on a drug discovery or probe discovery team... [Pg.5]

One of the earliest inhibitors of IDO reported in the literature is the carboline (1) with a K of 120 pM [39] several other carboline-based inhibitors were subsequently reported with improved activity, for example, the 3-butyl derivative (2, K = 3.3 pM) [40]. In fact, until recently the most commonly available competitive inhibitors were tryptophan-based analogs, for example, A-methyl tryptophan (3, Kx = 34 pM) [41, 42]. In 2006, the natural product Brassinin (4) was identified as a weakly active inhibitor of IDO = 97.7 pM). Investigation of structure-activity relationships (SAR) of this series identified further analogs with improved potency (5,... [Pg.156]

These compounds exist normally under the enol form, as shown by IR spectroscopy. Gianturco et al. (1963). Gianturco and Friedel (1963) published the identification and synthesis of some of these cyclic diketones. Nishimura and Mihara (1990) found ten other compounds of the series (identified also when heating glucose with alkali) in analysis of a roasted Columbian arabica coffee steam distillation, extraction, separation of the concentrate in basic, acidic, weakly acidic and neutral fractions, the weakly acidic being further fractionated by TLC. [Pg.139]

WOMBAT is a dynamic database, which evolves as new data types are included. The database structure is, however, preserved as much as possible from one release to the next. Each root record (or WOMBAT entry) is identified by a unique number (SMDLID), and is defined by the combination of one chemical structure and one or more associated biological activities as entered in one publication (Fig. 13.2-3). One field, series identifier (SID), links all the root records indexed from one reference (article). There are 6801 SID values in WOMBAT 2006.1 (see also Fig. 13.2-7). At the root level, information about the bibliographic reference (unique SID) from which the entry originated the entry is recorded together with various properties (illustrated in Fig. 13.2-6). [Pg.767]

Equation (2-15) permits the calculation of the frequency of the photon emitted for any electronic transition of hydrogenlike ions consequently, the wavelength of the transition can be calculated from the expression A = c/v. The calculated wavelengths and experimental wavelengths agree closely in all cases for all the series identified for hydrogen. [Pg.22]

Generally, the outcome of the HTS was successful because for the first time small-molecule inhibitors of the enzymatic domain of catA were available. Unfortunately, the submicromolar hit series identified had in our opinion only a low potential for further optimization due to varying reasons including rather poor compound metrics. Our X-ray studies had revealed the fragmentation of one series represented by compound 7 and an unfavorable binding mode with... [Pg.699]

The most common oligomers are those of the B series, B1-B8, formed by two flavanol units, either catechin or epicatechin joined by a C4-C8 linkage (B1-B4) [4 8 bond (epicatechin-(4 3 8)-catechin) or C4-C6 linkage (B5 to B8) (Figure 3.5). The least frequent dimers are those of the A series, identified by the presence of double linkages between the two catechin units, one C4-C8 or C4-C6 and an additional... [Pg.54]

This case series identifies three patients who have suffered acute toxicity secondary to methoxetamine [68 ]. [Pg.154]

Related to the previous structures, the benzochrome-nones constitute a series identified in Comantheria rotula harvested in Papua New Guinea. The dimer is an inhibitor of hypoxia-indudble factor-1 (HIF-1) and inhibits the growth of several human tumor cell lines (Dai et al, 2007). [Pg.713]
