Sensitization reactions indirect photolysis

What is meant by the terms indirect photolysis and sensitized photolysis What types of reactions does indirect photolysis of organic pollutants include in natural waters in the atmosphere ... [Pg.683]

Photolysis in the presence of MMA gives quantitative yields of PMMA-6-PTHF-b-PMMA block copolymers. Block copolymers with various segment lengths were obtained by precipitating at room temperature and — 20 °C. Indirect photolysis using anthracene sensitizer in the presence of MMA gives rise to the formation of the same block copolymers. Again the reaction products were almost pure block copolymers. [Pg.83]

The CIDNP effect has been employed to boost the sensitivity of Frydman s "ultrafast" NMR experiments, which record a two-dimensional spectrum in one scan through spatially encoding the indirect dimension by gradients and reading out the spectrum with an echo-planar imaging sequence. Another unusual combination of CIDNP with an imaging technique has been employed to study the spatial distribution of the reaction products during photolysis. " ... [Pg.109]
