Self-Assembly of Fullerene-Rich Dendrimers

Under optimized conditions, a mixture of 14 (1 equiv.) and nBuSn(0)0H (1 equiv.) in benzene was refluxed for 12 h using a Dean-Stark trap. After cooling, the solution was filtered and evaporated to dryness to afford the hexameric orga-nostannoxane derivative 36 in 99% yield.
